Widely regarded as one of the finest multi-ownership clubs in Europe, comprising 46 villas, a clubhouse with restaurant and bar, and a large heated swimming pool, all set in typically Mediterranean gardens. It is situated within the 1400-acre La Manga Club estate, which is currently owned by Arum Group (formerly Med Group), a residential and resorts company based in Barcelona and is recognized, as Spain’s finest and most luxurious all year round holiday resort. It has every facility for a relaxing holiday for all the family or groups of friends.

La Manga Club’s facilities include three superb golf courses, a golf academy, 28 tennis courts a tennis academy, a new state-of-the-art spa, a squash court, a health and fitness centre, a bowling green, a pitch and putt course, a bathing cove with restaurant, a beach club with boating and various water sports. In addition to La Quinta Club’s own La Solana clubhouse and club bars, there are various other restaurants and bars in the vicinity of La Manga Club. There is also the 200-bedroom 5-star hotel (La Manga Club Principe Felipe) managed by Arum Group.

You can contact the Sales & Marketing department at who will help you to decide the number of weeks, the type of villa (two bedroom/two bathroom or three bedroom/three bathroom) and in which seasonal colour band (red, blue, green or yellow) you wish to purchase. They will advise you of the current availability of weeks and the prices including administration fees, they will also explain the purchasing procedure in detail. The level of dues is determined each year by the Club Committee and is kept to the minimum necessary to maintain the 5-star standards for which the Club is renowned. The Sales & Marketing office is situated next to main Reception and is open Monday to Friday 9.00 to 17.00hrs, you may call La Quinta Club reception and ask for Extension 1003 to speak directly with Sales & Marketing.

No, unless you incur your own costs through consulting a solicitor. However, as mentioned in the answers to questions 2, a nominal administration fee is usually payable by the purchaser. This includes the issue of a new membership certificate and registration of membership with the Trustees.

The members themselves. When you join and become a Member of La Quinta Club you purchase “rights of occupation” in certain colour bands. Professional trustees hold the assets of La Quinta Club in trust for the Members. When the Club was originally set up a Trust Deed was drawn up and it is this Deed that clearly sets out the relationship between the Club, the Members and the Trustees. A copy of the Trust Deed is always available for Members’ interest and perusal. The Deed was set up initially for 80 years, however, the Club Committee in the year 2064, will, if this is the wish of the membership at that time, simply prepare a new deed for a further period.

At La Quinta Club, membership is available for four different seasons of the year: Red: generally the most popular time of the year including most children’s school holidays; Blue: generally high season outside most school holiday times, very popular for golfing and water sports holidays without crowds; Green: ideal for golf, tennis and other sporting activity holidays. During green season times the weather is normally pleasantly warm without the fierce heat of summer; Yellow: also ideal for golf and tennis and the perfect time for that long break away from the winter in Northern Europe, with plenty of activities available. Once you have decided when you want to come, you just have to select either a 2 Bedroom or 3 Bedroom Villa.

Once you have purchased a week or weeks you have acquired membership rights until the year 2064. (Please see question & answer No. 5 above for further explanation). In other words, membership of La Quinta Club is an asset, which you, your children and your children’s children can enjoy.

Once you become a Member you can use all the facilities at La Manga Club - with preferential rates on certain facilities (subject to periodic review) - as well as the La Quinta Club amenities, such as the La Solana Members’ Clubhouse, dining room, bars and heated swimming pool, which are exclusive to Members.

The special aspect of membership, which sets La Quinta Club apart from others, is the high standard of the 46 two and three bed-roomed villas for the exclusive use of members and their guests. La Quinta Club membership is designed to be flexible enough to meet your needs completely. Your membership secures you a lifetime of holidays at one of Europe’s most exclusive leisure resorts.

Within your chosen membership season (which can vary subject to the calendar produced by the Committee) you can book any dates that suit you. Reservations may be made up to 11 months ahead, and you are not tied to any one particular villa, since all are equally luxurious. Reservations are subject to availability and are made on a first come first served basis. Guarantees of particular dates or villas cannot and will not be given. You are therefore advised to book as early as possible.

You can use the number of nights’ accommodation to which your membership entitles you in a number of ways; you can take them all at once as a major holiday or visit several weeks or half weeks a year, or you can visit for a half week from Saturday till Tuesday or Tuesday to Saturday.

If you do not use all of your entitlement in the current year you can accrue it for a maximum of two years afterwards. However, please note that bookings of accrued weeks cannot be made more than six months in advance.

If a booking is cancelled less than three months before the date of occupation, your entitlement will be forfeited only if the Club is unable to make a booking on behalf of another Member, or let the period in question.

Yes, by paying an upgrade fee, you can, for example, transfer from green season to blue season, or from blue season to red season and make your required booking accordingly. Likewise, if you own a two bedroom week you can upgrade to three bedroom accommodation. Any type of upgrading is permitted only 3 months in advance of occupation, and is subject to availability.

Yes, you can exchange your entitlement for any affiliated accommodation anywhere in the world. La Quinta Club has been awarded 5-star status by three worldwide exchange organisations, namely Interval International (I.I.), Resort Condominiums International (R.C.I.) and Dial & Exchange. I.I. has granted all La Quinta weeks, irrespective of colour, red week status for exchanges. Individual Members can join either of these organisations in order to arrange their required exchanges. This facility gives Members access to some of the most luxurious 5-star resorts all over the world, ranging from tropical beach resorts in the Caribbean to ski resorts in Switzerland; from safari centres in Zululand to scuba diving resorts on the Great Barrier Reef.

Yes, the Club properties are at the disposal of the Members and they may allow their friends and guests to use their accommodation, or they may let privately.

As a Member, you share the membership of the Club and its properties with your fellow Members and you are therefore free to do with it whatever you wish but, in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution, should you rent it or lend it to other persons, you will be liable for any damage caused or replacements needed as a result of such occupations. Any person to whom you rent or lend your entitlement will be entitled to resident rates for sporting activities.

Yes, there are. Christmas and New Year are fixed calendar dates. Easter, which moves annually, is always in the red season, so, the dates are adjusted from year to year. Full details can be seen in the current calendar (which can vary and is produced by the Committee regularly), which gives all the seasonal dates for the years.

La Quinta Club is managed by its members through its Constitution. An experienced Committee of elected members develops policy and directs operations. The day-to-day management of the Club comes under the Club’s Senior Manager and staff, a number of whom have worked for the Club since it opened in 1986.

The Club retains lawyers in Spain and in the U.K. Its auditors and financial advisors are U.K. based. Members meet once a year at the Club’s Annual General Meeting. Committee members meet regularly with each other and with members who wish to discuss Club issues and the development of the Club.

The living/dining room and all the bedrooms are air-conditioned.

For winter warmth there is ducted air heating in every room, and bathrooms have heated towel rails. There is a free-standing electric fan heater in the living room.

Electricity consumption is metered and you pay at the end of your stay for the electricity you have used for air conditioning, heating, cooking, lighting or any other equipment.

The Club has its own housekeeping staff. In addition to your villa being perfectly prepared for your arrival if you wish to have it cleaned mid week or even daily then this can easily be arranged at an additional charge.

The Club has its own laundry and each villa is supplied with a full complement of fresh linen and towels, which are changed each time the villa is cleaned. Tea towels, dishcloths, and even swimming towels will all be in place waiting for you.

You pay for your calls at the end of each stay. The Club has a free wi-fi service in every villa and commun areas.

The reception office is open from 9.00am to 9.00pm daily and 7.30am to 11.30pm on Saturdays in the High Seasons (May-October). If you are visiting us during the low season (November to April) please note that the reception opening hours are reduced, for more information please contact us on For emergency contact only, out of office hours, there is always a manager on duty.

Your stay can begin on a Saturday or a Tuesday at 16.00 hours. Your check-out time on the day of your departure is 10.00 hours, to give adequate time for cleaning and preparation to take place ready for the new arrivals. The showers and changing rooms, plus the clubhouse with all facilities, are available for your use up to the time of your departure. Luggage can be stored in the reception area.

The amount of the dues is decided each year by the Club Committee based on the estimated cost of running the Club, on a non-profit making basis.

The dues will vary according to the size of the villa and will be paid on the number of one-week multiples to which your membership entitles you. So if for example you own two weeks in a 3-bedroomed villa you will pay the standard charge for a 3-bedroomed villa multiplied by two.
